Falmai
and Gareth Roberts are a perfect partnership. He is the visionary,
she the practical one who makes dreams come true - transforming a
run down sloping orchard with old style toilet and cesspit into an
award winning country garden. And all adjoining, appropriately, the
stone built 16th century farmhouse, a Grade2 listed building. |

fountains and colourful arches nestle in the shelter provided by a
row of Golden Leylandii. The sound of trickling water and birdlife
enhances the feeling of wellbeing. |

two beds of floribunda roses offer their lovely fragrance and colour
.The terraced borders are full of herbacious plants: scabiosa, rudbeckia,
salvia, phlox, delphinium and pyrethium, while to the left a sunken

Another
section offers the sensational aroma of lemon balm, lavender, rosemary,
dill, chamomile, sage and borage.
The Roberts are artists inspired: as much at home creating visions
and fragrant smells in their garden as dispensing imaginatively to
the desires of the conoisieurs of good taste with their superb dessert
