Llaeth y Llan proudly sponsor RGC Women and Under 18’s team for the 2018/19 season
Llaeth y Llan are the main kit sponsors for RGC Women and Women Under 18’s team for the 2018/19 season. RGC stands for ‘’Rugby Gogledd Cymru’’ and their base is in North Wales at the Stadiwm Zip World in Colwyn Bay. The RGC women’s and U18s girls’ team play in Regional Championships competing against the four other regions of Wales. The RGC squad is made up of players across the North Wales local rugby clubs as well as Welsh exiles.
Llaeth y Llan were excited to have the opportunity to sponsor the women’s team and to help develop the already exciting team and region. The senior Women’s side played their four regional games early in the rugby season. Four highly competitive games saw 3 defeats on the road and an exciting win in front of a home crowd in Stadiwm Zip;

RGC Women’s coach Rachel Taylor said they are delighted to be working with what they described as an iconic brand. Taylor expressed her appreciation “It’s been great to have a big sponsor take an interest in the women’s regional side; there’ve been some big movements down South, and it’s important we keep up in North Wales. It really helps that it’s a Welsh company, as we are really proud of our ‘Welshness’, as are Llaeth y Llan. It also helps that the yogurts are amazing, of course, and a big favourite with coaches and players!” As a company Llaeth Y Llan could not have picked a better team to mirror the values of their business. The RGC women and U18’s are dedicated work hard to ensure they reach their full potential, and ultimately follow coach’ Rachel Taylor’s footsteps of playing for Wales.
