Rural Business Awards Runner Up

Following Llaeth y Llan’s success of winning the Best Rural Manufacturing Business in their Wales and NI region in the Rural Business Awards back in September 2018, amongst multiple worthy winner such as their runner up BaaStool based in a nearby county of Denbighshire, Llaeth y Llan were proud to represent Wales on the 28th of February in the National Final.

The event will took place in the beautiful grounds of Chateau Impney, in Worcestershire. The Chateau’s blend of iconic French architecture and stunning English parkland will be a spectacular backdrop for one of the biggest celebrations of British rural businesses to date.

The winner from each of the categories, in every region were put forward to the National Final, where they were crown national champions for 2018/19.

Owain Roberts, Managing Director of Llaeth y Llan spoke on behalf of the company ‘’Llaeth y Llan are extremely proud to qualify for the National Final, it is an honour to win within our Region and an outstanding achievement for the company to be able to compete amongst companies of such standard.’’

Llaeth y Llan were runners-up in the Manufacturer category, second to Fen Farm Dairy based in Suffolk who are manufacturers of Cheese, Butter and Raw Milk, from milk sourced from their own dairy herd.
